Built Through Community, Rooted in Compassion
Community Heart was created by young women whose lives have been deeply affected by cancer and the incredible support we received from our community during some of life’s most difficult moments. From meals and gift cards to fundraising efforts, care packages, and personal visits, we experienced firsthand how meaningful even the smallest acts of kindness can be during a cancer journey.
As we navigated our individual experiences, we recognized how powerful community support can be — but also how difficult it can be for people to know how to help or where to turn during challenging times. We saw a need for a more connected and accessible way to bring people together in support of individuals and families affected by cancer.
That realization became the foundation for Community Heart, with a mission to connect those affected by cancer through a network of support.
Today, Community Heart brings people together through community events, fundraising efforts, outreach initiatives, and thoughtfully assembled care packages designed to provide comfort, encouragement, and meaningful support. Every event, donation, and act of kindness helps strengthen a compassionate community built on connection, care, and hope.
At the heart of everything we do is a simple belief: no one should have to face cancer alone.
Who We Are

Community Heart exists to connect those affected by cancer through a network of support. Through community events, fundraising efforts, outreach, and thoughtfully assembled care packages, we help create meaningful connections rooted in compassion and care.
-
Community Heart was built through the strength and kindness of community. We believe support can come in many forms — whether it’s showing up to an event, donating, volunteering, assembling care packages, or simply reminding someone they are not alone.

From fundraising events to care packages for cancer patients and their families, our goal is to make support feel more accessible during life’s most difficult moments. Every act of care helps strengthen a compassionate network of support.
In 2016, one of our founders was diagnosed with Primary Mediastinal B-Cell Lymphoma at just 17 years old after months of unexplained symptoms, hospital visits, and uncertainty. Over the next several months, she underwent chemotherapy, surgeries, and countless challenges that no young person should have to face alone. Through it all, what made the greatest impact was the overwhelming support from friends, family, and the community around her. Meals, gifts, cards, fundraisers, visits, and simple acts of kindness became a source of strength, comfort, and hope during the hardest moments.
That experience became the inspiration behind Community Heart.
Today, Community Heart exists to give back the same compassion and support that once carried us through. Through community events, fundraising efforts, outreach, and thoughtfully assembled care packages, we strive to remind every individual and family affected by cancer that they are never alone.
Because when a community leads with heart, healing becomes something no one has to face by themselves.
